Hey fellow explorers.
I started my 3rd big Exploration Trip some days ago and thought i want to share it with you.
My Goal for this trip is reaching Elite Status in Exploration. At the time I started the trip my I was on 38M Credits profit. So I do need something about 200% of that to reach Elite.
Phase one of my Trip was reaching the Statue of Liberty Sector. As i just arrived there I will give a small summary of what the journey has been this far:
I started at Flade Dock in the System of Huldr with my Exploration fitted ASP "Ferun" having a decent 31.13LY Jump range (Slightly less than with the outfit I used to get to Sag A).
First of I just went sort of straight towards the core again and checked out the Class B and O Star cluster starting at HD 152233. A Cluster you should check out if you make your way to the Core as there are quite some Black Holes and Neutron Stars ready to be scanned. One system even has a 3 Black Holes (V1292 SCORPII).
After that i followed the Sagitarius Arm outwards and made my way over to the Statue of Liberty Nebula. On my way there I noticed some quite shiny Stars creating an interesting image.
Those shiny Class B and Class O Stars are something around 400LJ away from the Statue of Liberty Nebula and contain some nice systems with Black Holes and Neutrons Stars as well.
My findings so far are:
