So tired of server lags... Is anyone else having them? Please help...

They start at 0:00, when I try to open carrier management menu - it takes more than 20 seconds. I've netstat logs to fdev where it was clear that HTTP requests took enormous amounts of time.

Thank you for the attempt to help. I've already tried:
  1. Rebooting the router.
  2. Disabling other in-network devices.
  3. WiFi/Ethernet.
  4. Another computer and account.
The problem seems to be in my network or ISP, but I have no clue how to diagnose it.

Try the game thru your 4g hotspot on fone. Yup it does work lol done it lots in my truck on a laptop. It might be slow but you'll see the same lag or not as it turns out. Worth a try .. 5g better if yu have it

Have just tried that (4G) with the same result. Well, it's not my network then, leaves only an ISP option Frontier servers.

Use port forwarding.

also, use a hard line and don’t use those free routers supplied by your ISP. often they are the cheapest units available.

I also didn't have any problems since March, when I bought the game, and suddenly I need port forwarding or other special network setup? I have no problems in CQC for example, the most fast paced gameplay in Elite. Also running curl unauthorized request against orere api endpoints responds in less than a second.

Things change. Router firmware by provider? Window 10 update or driver update?
I like fixed IP addresses, port forwarding and my own router as that can rule out some things.
Can't explain CQC though.
Have you tried playing in Solo or Private group to see if it still happens?

Win10 update is probable, but I've tried running it on two pcs, one with Win10 pro, another with win10 home. It's not network, because I've tried to run it via my phone. I'll try from the office on Monday though.

When the delay is being reported as during send, you can't blame the servers (yet :) ). Security software?
Windows defender may be, I'll try to disable it.

I would call you ISP and stop hunting for ghosts.
It's not ISP, I've tried to run it with a mobile network.

Add exceptions to your Windows defender and any other virus protections running on your pc.
Did you try port forwarding yet??

tracert might give you a better idea where the problem is, depending on whether the machines along the way allow icmp.

Okay, I'm running the game using OpenVPN to a different country, DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE LAG.

Running tracert starts to print 'Request timed out' at some point for all api.orerve.com IP addresses.

What should I do now?
