So, to unlock the Guardian weapons and modules, do I have to log out before repeating the puzzle?

I’m at the site for the Guardian modules and I did the puzzle 3 times in a row without logging out. I got the message “you received the module blueprint” only once, and the two times after that, I got the lightshow, but I didn’t get that message.

The Guardian sentries are a pain in the butt, so I thought I’d try doing the puzzle a bunch of times in a row. To get the blueprints, do I have to log out every time I do the puzzle?

Oh, and one last question. How many times do you have to do the puzzles to completely unlock the blueprints, for both modules and weapons?

I’ve gotten the FSD booster at HD 63154, and went back and done the puzzle about 16 or more times, and I keep receiving stuff from the floating orb. How many times in total do I have to complete the puzzle to get everything?

3 x Vessel Blueprints
6 x Module Blueprints
24 x Weapon Blueprints (6 for all variants of small, 9 for all variants of medium, 9 for all variants of large)

Can I get all the blueprints at HD 63154, or I have to go to the site at Synuefe as well?

Three options.

Do the puzzle - take off, fly straight up until you can engage supercruise... immediately drop out of cruise, land and do the puzzle again.

Get a list of guardian sites and do a tour - gaining exploration data as you go.

Relog if you must.

Each site only provides one blueprint type, but in each of the 3 Guardian system clusters there is at least one of each blueprint site type.

The vessel blueprints are a special case that AFAIK only have one site in each of the 3 Guardian clusters.

The minimum is 1 of each blueprint type site (there are several different layouts but that is another matter) and at least one visit to a Guardian beacon (relog/leave-and-return was not required at the beacon last time I checked).

Oh, duh! I thought if I kept doing the puzzle and got enough segments, I’d “discover” a new module type). At least I have lots of Guardian mats now, and blowing up enough Guardian sentries made me a combat Expert (getting expert in an SRV was kinda lame though).

I saw a confused, poorly worded tutorial. It said you needed to do the puzzle over a dozen times to get the Guardian Power Distributor. So I just got confused.

You can also change the location

They reduced it to one blueprint per module. :)

I don't think the module blueprint requirements were ever as high as over a dozen BPs for one unlock. Further more, there is the point that Branithar seemed to have missed the point that you have to hand the data and materials into a Tech Broker to unlock the kit. It is also worth noting that the kit will only be available from either Shinrarta or stations with the relevant Tech Broker after being unlocked.

I thought after doing the puzzle enough, I’d get a message “Guardian Power Plant blueprint discovered” after getting enough segments, then I could head back to a Tech Broker and have the blueprint available to unlock. But hey, I have a whole bunch of materials now.

Sorry, nope you do not get that level of feedback (at the moment).

WRT materials - don't forget you will also need the Obelisk patterns which are probably the worst to acquire on balance.

I’m at some ruins scanning obelisks right now. I get to enjoy the atmosphere without my SRV getting flipped on its back by sentries.
