Been to many systems now where the Milky Way is more of a reddish blob, like a long nebula, because of it being obscured by dust clouds. So this makes sense. There are still worlds out there with a better view than us, but at a price of being remote. But they have a more glorious dawn.

But are we 75 LY above the galactic plane, or are we 75 LY below the galactic plane? Maybe there's a party on the other side and we'd never know.

Yay! We are 0.15° above or below the plane when viewed from the Galaxy center.

I was thinking the same. But we must assume we are simply not invited. Perhaps they don't like us that much!

But either way, I so much prefer living on the Earth, 75LY above the galactic plane.

I mean to say, level with the plane is so 20th century.
