So UA bombing just got nerfed.

Yay, another emergent gameplay choice removed...

Really? Does frontier have special dev team dedicated to getting rid of all fun in their game?

Emergent game play will be enhanced by this change. Giving players on both sides of the conflict adequate tools to compete. With this change the Bombers can be thwarted by the Defenders through game play. Both sides will have to work to achieve their goals. As it stands the defenders can do nothing to stop the affects of the UA's, and can only limp along to try and recover the services at the affected stations after the fact, and the Bombers can toddle off to their next great achievement. With the coming changes the Bombers will have to stick around or face missing their goal. It's the perfect response from FD. Everyone should be praising them for putting the issue into the hands of the players.

You know, in my opinion people should not be playing multiplayer games, if they are afraid of other players disrupting their gameplay. ;)

Have some +rep, good Sir. Very well put, indeed. As much as I am vocal about FD getting things wrong, this has been a great change and probably triggered by the feedback of the playerbase.

If UA bombing were griefing, UA's wouldn't have an effect on stations.

FD gave players a way to take stations down as well as a way to fix them.

I don't see the problem.

It was the imbalance that made taking stations down way easier than defending them. FD addressed that, and there's probably no problem anymore indeed.

Ah - cool - thanks. I'm reading this while playing so I'm missing a lot of posts :)

I saw a lot of references to UA bombing being a "grief tactic", when it's actually an ingame intended function of UA's. FD DO balance stuff... eventually :D .

Too funny, me too. One can always tell when I'm trading based on my forum activity :)
