Not bad at all. Actually, that's just about exactly what I'd do if I was going for an all-rounder that could also fight. Has everything from cargo space to an interdictor. You could literally take any missions with that baby, it even has a good 25ly jump range!

It is a decent all-round build. However, I don't like fighting in an Asp unless I have to - it's not quick or agile enough to be a dedicated fighter. For that reason, I'd probably leave the FSD Interdicter and kill warrant scanner off and replace them with a chaff launcher and another cargo rack. But that's just me.

And two A-rated shield boosters to replace your 2 Cs and a B will get you to the same shield strength at the same power draw with less mass.

This. Asps have become common to the point of predictability. Not really a bad thing, but, come on, break the mould.

If it's not obvious yet, I'm not to crazy about the design of the Asp.

I preffer the DBX, but there seem to be no mission's that have that low a cargo requirment that still pay at least halfway decent...god I can't wait for 1.6 to drop so i can maybe get a few good mission's if they actually changed the mission's RNG.

You will see that when you have a ship which can do most things well and is relatively affordable like the Asp Explorer.
