I was making my way to Mehat 3 and had just located and locked the High RES when I was Interdicted. I didn,t try to fight and surrendered hoping to collect the bounty.

I found I was up against a DBX might have been a DBS, things got a little hectic and distracting, anyway I unlimbered my guns and got ready to show what my Asp X could do.

After one pass and in the middle of the inevitable turning duel all of a sudden my ship started to shut down due to power systems being overloaded. I dived to my righthand panel to see what I could fix and/or shut down to stay alive. Whilst delving I realised that the noise of battle had dropped below the sound of my emergency life support, a quick glance at the scanner showed he was still nearby but stopped.

So I dived back in shutting down everything but the AMSU which was busy trying to bring my Thrusters back from 11% and wishing it could do something about the Power Plant which was at 0% when I heard target destroyed. A quick look back showed that the scanner was indeed empty.

Amazingly I was able to limp back to dock with just partially repaired Thrusters, FSD and life support running.

The question is partially what the deuce did he hit me with, but mainly how was he destroyed.

It's possible he was attacked by police you didn't see entering the zone. If you last long enough, usually the system defence force show up. While your repairs were underway and sensors were damaged, you probably wouldn't have spotted him.

I had few days ago similar situation far not serious than op discribed,after interdiction,submitting and nothing on scanner,after 5 sec my shields strart decreasing something was firing(strange but there was no hud distorsion effect like npc firing) but nothing on sensors 10Sec 15Sec,trying to get visual contact but still nothing,afte near 30 sec and 2 rings down i did hw,my 2 cents and question may that be a stealth npc config.?
