So what happens to the 32 bit folder? An end my confusion please.

Hi Fellow Cmdrs.
Just a quicky...Can someone put me straight on the new Horizons update. I do have a 64 bit system and I have had this game on my pc since launch date last December,
And was thinking about updating to Horizons.
What will happen to your original Elite Dangerous 32 bit files with all the previous updates in windows 7 program files (x86)?do they purge after updating to Horizons and automatically be moved to your 64 bit program files or do I have to uninstall the full game and reinstall the 64 bit version?
Ive checked a little but couldn't find any thing relating to my confusion (lol) or maybe that's just me Getting Confused as always.

Are you on Steam? Because I believe that Steam's Verify files function will remove old versions. But first wait and make sure Horizons is properly integrated into Steam.

Good question.
I have asked it in another thread, but it got snowed under.

I would like the official Horizons installation to completely replace my original ED installation.
I hope the installer gives me such an option.
