Newcomer / Intro So what some thoughts on what I did to my ship

So after a bad morning of exploring and being killed once by being overheating and being interceded and second time by running out of fuel and then accidently starting back over with my start ship and loosing all the upgrades I had I had a bad morning. So I was ready to call it quits then decided not to. However I had no idea what to do. Trading was out cause I don't know how to do it and make a profit. I was getting hang of exploring and starting to enjoy it when I ran in to problems this morning. However I was also starting to want to do some combat as well.

So here what I did to my little sidewinder. It will hopefully give me a bit more protection while exploring but also allow me to do some combat as well. So here what I did and tell me what you'r thoughts are on what I did.

I upgraded the shields to class 2 with rating of D. Upgraded the Power Distributor to class 1 rating of C. I added a Class 1 rating E fuel scoop. Multi-Cannon and Pulse Laser both Gimble both are class 1 rating of G.

I had 20K in credits and now only have 327 cr. I took a risk that I could make some cr and rebuild my pocket book before anything really happen to me. I figure if I do this it will incress my adds of surviving if I'm attacked while exploring and if I can ever find a extraction site I can do a little bit of combat.

Seems nice. You have to pick your targets, though. If it's Eagle with higher rank (like Expert), it can make you sweat.

Well my plan is to stick novice right now. I need to build up some money first dont want to die and loose everything cause I dont have enough to cover insurance.

Then I'm goint to test my combat limits till I figure out what I can't kill. Then im going to stick with what I can kill

Then ill up grade my fdl drive then thrusters and the put in anothermticannon and burst laser gimble. Thats the plan any way.

You don't have to worry about insurance at the beginning. You can use a 200.000 loan if need be.

After you earn some money, I would start with buying a better powerplant, first. The upgrades you have right now will be at the limit of the basic one, I guess.

Okay screw this game if it's going to keep screwing me over to point that I can't do anything then what the hell is point in play. I got 43,000 in bounties only to be blown up trying to get back to base by a master. What the hell man this is a load of crap. I'm never going to get out of this piece of crap vessel. Screw this game I've had enough of this cheap crap.
