It was a pretty slick presentation of what the game is about, so there wasn't much that fans and backers don't already know about. At the end there was a pretty cool reveal of an imperial capital ship jumping in, with some new effects, and *shock* some co-op play organised over the in-game comms to damage it enough that it was forced to jump out.

Ummm....there's a free app out for ipad with android to follow "soon" that, I dunno shows you your game stats or something that sounds pretty useless.
Umm...Pre-orders can play tutorials from Wednesday.
And...there was a capitol ship malarky at the end.
So, all in all, not much.

As Tar Stone mentioned above, I don't think this event was purely aimed at providing a whole lot of new information to those of us that are already 'in the know' and keep a regular tab on things.

It was an event which had a bit of everything going on; introduced the game to the overall community at large, those on the fringe. The books for those interested and wanting to get in to the lore some more also. And of course the bone thrown in for everyone and those in the know already with the Cap Ship reveal.

That's my take on it. A rather balanced event.

That the Elite Dangerous App only works on iphones with the latest version 7 ios.So if your like me with an iphone 3gs it doesn't work.So in all the Premiere offered me a big fat zilch.

Yeah I expected more surprises it was kind of underwhelming. They could've easily made the whole event twice as long with presentations about the galaxy simulation, art direction, game design.

Wouldn't know as my iphone3gs only can use version 6.When I downloaded the app and tried running it.It said version 7 is reequired.
