So What Will You Do Now?

Now that the beta has come to it's end, what do you personally plan on doing to fill in the time gap until the game's official release?

I have a lot of reading to catch up on with this forum, several YouTube playthroughs/reviews I'd like to watch, and I'm hoping to create a photo collection of real-life photographs of habitats, environments, scenery and landmarks from around the world that I'd like to recreate as habitats in my sandbox and franchise zoos. Like, this mountainside looks like the perfect habitat for grizzly bears. Could I recreate this exact photo and turn it into a perfect habitat for bears? Sounds like a fun challenge!

I have assume the data in zoopedia is by and large accurate - I hove built a spreadsheet of important information and will spend the next three weeks building a spreadsheet and learning how the properly use vlookup and pivotables to properly use all the data |I have built ie I want an asian animal lives around 15 years needs no more than 250m2 of land 50 m of water how long will it take to produce young and how many will I produce maximum if it all goes well?

if I can answer that it would be great the data I have harvested says I can - that's my task

I will probably go back to another game, not a Frontier one so I won't mention the name. But I think I will also draw out my perfect zoo design on paper. I spent a lot of time moving, changing and deleting elements of my zoo during the beta. I just work better if I have a plan to work from and I can draw it out to include my favorite parts of several real zoos that I have visited. Another forum member figured out the total map size of Planet Zoo was 250 acres but I can't remember if it was square or rectangular.

I also will probably watch a few videos that I'm sure got made during the beta. There were a few things that I had trouble learning and maybe I can get a step ahead by release time.

In BIS and Geekism I trust. Will catch up with some other content as well. They have still content up their sleeves. Plus I will continue to plan out my zoo. I'll make my christmas cards and do a lot of walks, because I might be MIA for weeks after nove, bre the 5th.

Haha same, I'm looking forward to being spoiled with their beta content videos for the rest of the week.

i'll be fiddling and fine tuning the guide i made, and coming up with ways to improve it once hte game releases

i'm also plotting a zoo design i'd like to make and some more interesting exhibits i could build

I think I will play some Planet Coaster to work on my creativity and get use to the tools that are the same in both games. Plus it will also so depend what goes on sales on Steam in the weeks before Halloween.

I will keep practicing and improving my building skills in Planet Coaster so that by the time 11/5 rolls around I will feel very comfortable with all the various controls and shortcuts.

hibernation !
hehe, I might check on this game called Real Life a bit and play Jurrasic world evolution, since i bought it only a couple of weeks ago. there are also many Planetzoo videos on youtube I still want to watch. Most of all I will be a loyal servant to my 4 cats, these little fluffy gods will keep me busy untill PZ release day

I will watch SafariLive and hope we get leopards along side those fabulous cheetahs in the full release, I have so many ideas for pretty places for big cats to live, also watch a few planet zoo videos but they kinda just make me wish I did more in the beta XD so many creative things I learn from those videos, I guess it helps prep me for making nicer stuff in the future, there is also netflix to fill the void... /cry lol

Haha same, I'm looking forward to being spoiled with their beta content videos for the rest of the week.
They both sound so tired though, that I hoping for them to get some well deserved rest after busy beta. BIS said he might have content for us for the rest of the week. Geez, he was obviously a busy bee. Love them both and look forward to everything Planet Zoo they do. :)

I'm revising some of my zoo designs now that I know the mechanics of the staff a bit better. Basically I have to place down some more keeper huts and staff buildings but still.

I'll be looking at some real life zoo maps for inspiration, I still haven't played the Claire's Sanctuary DLC for Jurassic World Evolution so I might do that, and I will probably just try to wait until the full release. All my other games feel so stale and lackluster now, all I want is the full Planet Zoo game.
