So what's new?

Just took the Cobra IV out for a spin for the first time since Christmas. Turns out I still remember how to fly and my laptop can still handle it reasonably well (Frontier support previously told me it wouldn't run Horizons, which - despite the lengthy load time - is blatantly not true!).

What have I missed since I've been away?

Btw, it wasn't that I got bored with the game particularly - I've just been preoccupied with other things.

You missed a lot. Many CG and many rage threads on forums and on Reddit. Couple dozens open vs solo threads and PVP vs PVE threads. A lot of threads about how ED is dying and some threads calling others idiots. Not that much.

Really you missed nothing in game (except they but lot of new paint jobs to their store and news that elite support SDK 1.3 and consumer version of Ocolus rift), all interesting and fun have been on these forums. We are still waiting for 2.1 and that is coming in end of next month.

Patch-wise not much: some minor stuff but we're mostly waiting for the start of 2.1 beta in may.

You missed Cerberus: Reloaded - The Tea-baggers strike back, one of the most marvellous Community efforts in game (at least since Bast and Hutton Mugs).
