So what's the deal with those guys "Seeking Luxuries"?

So I'm hanging out in Barnard's Star, trying to find a place to sell off some "stolen" prototype tech, & I see a bunch of way-points named "seeking luxuries". So what is the deal with them? Can you fly out to them & trade with them? If so, how?

Any responses will be greatly appreciated .

If you have the correct cargo, you can fly out to them and they'll automatically trade with you.

Yes, you can trade with them - sort of. If you cargo scan them you'll see what they're carrying/trading in. If you bring that commodity to them and fly close they'll take the goods off your hands for a better than average price.

n.b. I haven't tried this myself.

Do a forum search for "Seeking Luxuries" and you'll have all the info. Basically load up Performance Enhancers, fly to a SL, fly close to the large trading ships and they will buy them from you. Lower profit than normal, higher than the Black Market. Short travel time makes them useful. Sometimes they may like other commodities. Whatever they have is what they buy so a cargo scanner is useful if the PEs don't sell.

It also can be lucrative, they usualy give you a good price and are normally close to a station (few Ls) selling the luxuries. This way you can make money fast because you don't have to travel to other stars...
