So where are the signups for the AW event?

So that I don’t end up participating in yet a third community event and never get a reward/ payout, where are these alleged signup boards for this ammonia world Pilot’s Federation event?

I did a Colonia event for an FSD module (I think it was), a Salvation event for a paint job and another some other module and apparently the reason I never got any of these things was because of a stupid signup that is never mentioned in these Galnet articles and nor on the Elite community event website. Both things just tell you “do this and hand in stuff here.” But fail to tell you that you need sign up and where. Do I need to go to Jameson Memorial/ Shinrarta and do something? Since that is where the PF HQ is located? Or is this more of a website opt-in deal?

You can sign up on any mission board for CG... also on the CG starport... just BEFORE you deliver your data.

Thank god I stumbled across this post accidentally... I don't usually do CGs and never would have again if I hadn't seen this and realised I need to sign-up. Agree with Op, why isn't this added to the Galnet announcement...

I like how they put the eligibility information inside the mission board detail and not on the Galnet article or CG website.

Don't need to imagine it - done a few, even got to name one of the Colonia Bridge megaships by doing the CG in Colonia... (CB-36)

I missed a CG once because I forgot to sign up, or maybe I signed up late after I had already done some deliveries. Learning opportunity...

One could also, in an attempt to make the CG last longer (for instance if it were paying VERY well and getting those profits for a longer period of time is desirable) transport and sell the goods and get the high payouts but specifically NOT sign up, and as such, not contribute to the completion.

But the current CG is for carto data and not commodities...

To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Ammonia World exploration data to Angus Manwaring starport in the Eta Cassiopeiae system. Each Ammonia World scan is worth one contribution, or three contributions if a detailed surface scan was completed.

At least nowadays we can sign in at any station with a mission board, just think how much fun it would be if you could still only sign in at the CG destination.
