I voted Federation, but I plan to sell to anybody who seems the most opportune (not necessarily the most lucrative) but certainly not to the Empire.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
Glory to the Empire, I say. I wouldn't sell the Federation data even if they were paying triple. :D

I'm sorry but you're missing an option:
"I'll just happily give it to the first pirate I see."

I've voted for the most profit, of course.

For an autonomous contractor there can be only one answer: Whoever pays most. I feel no sympathy for any side and just like in real life I will never work exclusively for, or join any organization.
I would have said 'both sides', but from the news letter I gathered that might become very problematic in the long run.

Spoken like a true patriot, I hope you country never gets attacked.

Don't know if this is in a DDA or not...

Suppose you as an explorer hyperspace to some previously unexplored system.

You've surveyed it - there are planets, no spaceports, no sign of intelligent life. Just resources.

What I'm wondering is; will there still be NPC interdictions and the like if you decided to go supercruising around such systems?

You see what I mean though - I'm just wondering how smart the game system will be - because for example, being interdicted by a pirate NPC in a supposedly empty system would probably feel a tad ridiculous, IMO :)
