As a leftist Fed´s Navy Midshipman I´m starting to get annoyed about this "Shadow President".

If he/she has more power than secretary of agriculture I think I start rebellion of my own.

If it's anything like UK politics he had no powers beyond being a member of the Senate, he is simply the President's opposite in next majority political party. Basically that parties leader.
