Didn't you hear? They cancelled planetary landings and wings and instead are focusing on adding variety to the docking computer music.
I can tell you already that during any product development there is a constant change in team size and the project goes through different phases. So layoffs in and of themselves are always to be expected at some point, and in particular after a V1 release. You still need people for new content, support etc, but you do not need everyone that build the core product. The surprising thing is that ED is also hiring people. I guess they are re-organizing to make the transition to the new phase in the ED development by relocating the office. We'll see.
This is FUD of the day.
You can jest what you want but I wouldn't mind having different conductors give their version of Blue Danube. Maybe have the cheap docking computers play version recorded by kindergarten orchestras.
