Social behavior?

Does anyone know how exactly the social behavior of the dinosaurs looks like in the game?
I only saw in the gameplay videos 3 struthiomimus stare at eachother and "talk".

Do the dinosaurs get in touch with eachother? I mean do they cuddle? or perhaps poke their "friends" with the head like cats do?
Do they play? or sleep side by side? :S

I would love to know :)

I have yet to see any of that stuff in gameplay videos I've seen. Doesn't mean it won't make it into the final product though. It would be nice to get some more dynamic interactions

Closest we've seen is Pachycephalosaurus headbutting and I think trike dominance display? I vaguely remember herd movement too in a recent vid, as in a small group moving together in same direction.

Judging by all the video footage that's been out so far, the only social aspects I've seen are the 'group huddling' which you've seen yourself. Don't recall seeing any dino's resting, etc, although sure that's in, be odd if it wasn't.

My worry is that these social circles will look odd when you got four or more circles of dino's staring at each other in such a way. But hopefully it's varied.

There is one thing that all the recent reveals have taught me. All the people worrying about stuff are worrying for nothing. In the IGN First video with the 20 minutes of gameplay the Struthios kind of stand together and make noises. I am sure there will be other behaviors. In one of the first videos of the game we saw Trikes, Stegos and Brachiosaurs all herding together. modern animals will herd together as well.

Herd mentality

We need to be able to see realistic and convincing herding behaviors ( . It would be very interesting to have most of the dinos from a specific species follow the earliest one that was released from the Hammond Creation Lab (like the matriarch of the group). With a high probability of mimicking certain of her actions in the game ( movement directions, drinking at water edge, etc..) If this "matriarch" dies, the next in line takes over. I was soo pleased to see what had been done so far, but Im sure some herd movements would not be impossible to work on. I did notice many Struthiomimus grouping together in one of the latest video updates. I still think this will be EPIC no matter what!!! Oh, and I wish for day/night cycles too and underground power cables!!!
