Social group sizes

Would just like to raise an issue. At the moment if I want to check my dinosaurs population requirements or social group size, I have to create the dinosaur first And look through his stats. Can we have this information in the codex aswell, save me the resources and overpopulating my enclosures.

You will know them after a while, a know exactly what they want, personally i thinks this adds some spice to my gaming experience. And if this feature was in the game i would never find it useful from now on

I have often wanted this info and not been able to find only to produce to little or too many dinosaurs and then spend 15mins removing the less tolerable ones. I'd also like to see the population and social tolerance increase in hadrosaurs and they likely lived in very large herds.

I actually just made a post about this in the bug section.
The T-rex Social tolerance is way too low when compared to the population meter (which takes up half the meter).

It's been shown in Lost World that T-rexes could live in packs of at least 3 (the probable maximum) but, in-game more than one Rex at any given time is enough to send the Comfort level on a downturn. The Ceratosaurus can at least tolerate 2 but, they were never even seen in groups of 2 or more in the films (just 1).

I think lost world used a lot of creative licence. Maybe add a gene which ups there social or population. That would be interesting.

It was a family rather than a pack. Big difference.

Agreed and its highly likely the bull would no longer stay once the female had laid her eggs due to competition for food. T-rex's were no doubt highly territorial and wouldn't tolerate other T-rex's as is shown on fossils of their skulls that show bite marks. Juveniles likely hunted in packs much like young tigers but as they got older they would of separated. At the end of the day we simply don't know what to social structure of a T-rex was like so we can only speculate however if we look at other apex predators we can get an insight into what it may of been like.
