Hey all

Was just wondering why its soo quiet out there in game :D

Obviously tis space and bound to be "quiet" keeping in character so to speak --- but I cant help but wonder why no "server wide" or call it "galaxy wide" chat channel?

Every system i enter the same and silence rules -- and don't get me wrong, right now doing my cargo runs with everything i won invested in ship and cargo I am keeping myself hidden as best I can - but still I cant help but wonder why no server wide chat channel?

Most people in open think everyone else in there with them is a greifer.

But I have had many chat with random CMDRS, most can be very friendly.

This crowd would hate a system wide chat. All they see is it being filled with gold seller Spam and $"!%@'s just being rude for the sake of it.

I guess people typing short hand text chat in the chat window would be a tad immersion breaking too.

Being in a Vulture tends to limit the conversation...

Now I tend to ensure im flying above or below any cmdrs while making conversation.

A group communication channel would also be fine if you ask me, to talk to a specific group of which you are member?
