I've loaded Space Engine twice the past year. 1st time I tried and tried to fly around in a space ship but just could not get a good grip on how. I lost interest and stopped playing it in lieu of other games. Then my puter burned up and I got a new rig. I watched a video on S.E. and again downloaded it a month or two ago.

I passed on trying to fly ships and just decided to try flying around the universe. Wow, its amazing. I would characterize S.E. strengths as more of a learning and exploration tool, instead of a game. I will definitely keep this software updated. The granddaughters love flying around the universe and learn about astronomy.
