Sokn was set to succeed while Minjung is left alone?

For Pranav Antal, our expansion to Sokn was impossbile due to a bug that prevented Violent protests from appearing so there was no way to kill the target ships.

Frontier (rightfully) set the system to succeed before the cycle ended because it was unfair that we couldn't do anything to make it succeed while there was no real opposition.
Last cycle Minjung had the same bug, but Frontier never set the system to succeed and now that cycle 4 has started we are left to wonder whether we should attempt to expand there a second time or...?? Why did Minjung not get set to succeed, if we had 3-4 hours of violent protest availability that would have been enough, we had all our system fortified and our other 2 expanding systems were completely fine most of the week, we would have had zero trouble holding onto Minjung if it weren't bugged.

If Frontier does not care about this bug and continues to neglect its to do anything about its effects on Pranav Antal I don't see any reason to take powerplay seriously, why should I spend time/money pushing 2k publicity into a system only to have it denied because of a bug, then watch it fail for an entire weak while Frontier does nothing about it and won't even acknowledge something went wrong, my efforts have been trivialized by a bug and no one seems to care that the smallest faction is shrinking.

All of this just feels really... discouraging, maybe I just need a break from Elite or something, I don't feel like I've burned myself out yet but right now powerplay is driving me away from this damn game.

I'm fine with bugs, I can deal with that, I understand if FD have their hands full post-PP. However, the complete lack of communication post-1.3 is absolutely shameful, and this is just one of the worst examples.
