The "I haven't seen it so it must not exsist." defense has more plot holes than swiss cheese. It's clear that select people are not having these problems and as such new commanders are not as likely to experience these problems as well. Stop being arseholes and telling everyone that their experiences are invalid because of the size of your e-peen and lack of experience.

I did not ask you to point out the obvious, but thank you for agreeing with me in your backhanded fashion. Eventually, however slow, it should be going up. however I have completed at least three loops of missions that I know should have upped my rank by at least 1% but i am still stuck at 8% post commander no matter what I complete. That is MY experience and YOU cannot detract from that no matter how much you pointlessly argue.
Go and get 20 missions from Imp factions only and do a loop. Stop diluting your rank increase with useless missions. I have a feeling you've been taking fewer Imp missions than you think.

LMAO if it took me a year and a half to get 624 hours and own a Clipper, a Python a Gunship and a couple other small randoms....if that's too quick I ain't got the time. This game already sucks enough of my life away...3200 hours is working ten hour days five days a week for just over a year. I'm not commiting a year long full time job into a bloody game just for a couple ships.

You know, from what your saying it sounds like the career players, e.g. people getting paid/sponsored by FD to play or test this game are the ones who should have the ultimate say in what happens in this game. I would like to see a player poll on that opinion.

And you want to make it a full time job for a year to get the big fancy ships advertised in the trailer? Because a few people that probably got paid for their time anyway are complaining that new players are getting cool stuff too quickly? What do YOU do for a living? i take their word at it,when they say, they put in tickets when they see what they view as exploits and bugs, including ranks going up too fast, pay beign to high, one even reported my ix/hip 20722 runs because 716-816k a data, and he said this "Was way to high, i dont care how long the run is" next patch...ix went from boom to bottom of the barrel no missions but wing, illegal, and donate items..for rep..to factions you are already maxxed out with.. misao has some datas now, at a fraction of the value, and people who like ix are working to restore it... im among them...well was...im just gonna post here till they fix the ranking and wing bugs..i mean user error...since this game is flawless..its just instagib/insta win button wanting idiots who say otherwise....

Wow, it would take one (1) community manager to write in here, yes naval missions are frozens and fed / empire ranking up is currently problematic (or working correctly) to stop this argument in one fell swoop - I love their new forum interaction, so much better than the old days where they wouldn't say nothing - oh, wait...
Whilst I wouldn't complain about the speed of promotions as naval rank impacts on nothing in the game (except for access to a few ships and a terse paragraph of text), the rate of progress has gotten pretty stupid - took me weeks (of painful grinding) to get to Baron for the iClipper, took me a (long) evening to get from Baron to Prince. Doing a few missions for a new faction last night, went from neutral to allied in about ten (ish) missions. Something seems borked.

He wanted to say, that at the moment there's a bug preventing ranking up missions to appear it seems. Frontier wanted to push ranking up missions to the upper part of the mission board for better visibility and it seems something went wrong and they don't show up anymore at the moment. So Sol permit will have to wait until this is fixed. I rather think early next week. We'll see about that.
Since the other stuff has been covered by other people: there can only be three exclamation marks. I think the habit of making more than three to emphasize your point is only making it look more silly.
Ironically, Sol is the best place to pick up Navy missions.

Fed: all the way from nothing (ish) to admiral took 21hours, Ceos to Sothis. Actually Sothis mining is a good place to get 8m CR 1-jump delivery missions too.
To be confirmed: but I think you get rep with faction that give you the mission AND the one you deliver it to. CEOS/Sothis has some weird political triangles where each faction sends data to competing factions. Whenever Fed aligned lady showed up, I got rep.
Anyway. Not a difficult grind, and I'm CR300m better off plus an A rated chieftain. Take a python with you for money.
