Solar forge on wp

For those that read the previous newsletter about FD using the stellar forge to create the Elite galaxy and think that creating stars could be fun, there is an app on wp8 called solar forge which is free.
Am just downloading it now so will let you know if it is any good in a couple of days.

There was also another similar app where you had to keep the planets spinning in the habitable zones protect them from asteroids so llife could grow etc. Entertaining but nothing like what FD has planned for us :smilie:

They should license Stellar Forge after Elite has shown what it can do. I love where they are doing with Elite but I also think it would be cool to see other types of space games with the same kind of unlimited playing field.

Yep, that's the kind of game that it is and in my opinion not very gripping even for the amateur astronomer so have uninstalled it.
