Anyone torture the NPC by letting them interdict? Go for a coffee? Get a snack? Just don’t tell the NPC his kids will be going hungry tonight...

I had like 5 interdictions yesterday but my cargo was empty poor poor NPC
Had several today, seems normal.
And I really can't answer the other question. Think they see fighter hangar and missile launches and go oh, you have nothing I want.

haven't played in a week because I have been way to busy to play but I think i get interdicted by mostly like cobra 3 and I just submitted to the interception because i can wreck them with my federation navy rank up runs from sothis to ceos
In order for the cargo scanner to work both ships need to be in normal space.
You'd get the same playing in open. Try it!
It feels like I never get interdicted unless I'm in that shieldless T9 crap-barge trying to get Tritium back to the carrier. 
Also the only ship where my odds of beating an NPC interdiction are about 50/50.
