Newcomer / Intro Solo player mode ... sitting on landing pad

In solo mode, I have yet to be penalized for taking my own sweet time (finding good commodity trades, reading bulletin board, surfing the Interwebs, etc.) while sitting on an assigned landing pad. Is there a maximum time limit I should be aware of...

in solo gameplay?
in online gameplay?

Seem the answer is "no" but I'd like to be sure before I ever jump to online play.

If you're going to be AFK for an hour or two, I'd log out, though- there are still a few random ship destruction bugs.

Also, if you are in Open and sitting at the Outpost, please bear in mind that there are usually just two or three small and one medium pad. Sitting on one of them for unreasonable amount of time is kind of inconsiderate and hinders the traffic.

There is no limit for sitting idle on any dock.

Only limits are for landing and taking off.

If it's your first flight, and you chose Open, you still will be in Solo until you make your first jump.

Then, you'll join us in Open.
