Solo Viper IV vs. Wing Assassination

I don't always fly my Viper IV, but when I do, I fly it with my hair on fire.

Decided to try and solo a wing assassination mission using my Viper IV because I'm a lunatic. I like to fly a variety of ships, but none come close to competing with my love for my Viper IV "Dauntless". Playing with some alternatives to my normal mine-bomber setup, and figured I'd give this build a proper "trial by fire" test. Did pretty darn well!

Beautifully done. Nice build too. Might I invite you to come post on the "Viper Mk4 Owners Club" thread where we wax poetic about the most capable small ship in the galaxy?

here's a penny for the effort:

green lasers: boring
idiotic magic weapons: lame
endless pve cutter shield grind: boring
music: very good! (considering)
ending: very funny
and extra kudos for persistence!

i noticed there were no idiotic magic special effects on you. this was a regular assassination mission, right? i'm told wing assassination missions have npc with idiotic magic special effects aswell. maybe next video could be that? or with you in a regular viper?

This was a wing assassination mission. The target (the cutter) has engineered weapons, but the others do not. That is one of the many reasons I made a point of not getting in front of the cutter. The cutter shield grind is a bit of a chore (YAY SCBS AMIRITE), but I didn't have any of the anti-scb rails.

i see, good decision. and good to know it's only the main target that's buffed. nice flying!
