Solution for the 20 cargo cannister problem.

There seem to be a problem with having to much cargo around in space instances. If people can dump endless cargo this will be abused and may cripple frame rates on low end computers. I understand the problem, but there is a solution. Make NPCs start picking up cargo again. I dont think they do it now. Its strange, because pirates ask for cargo but dont pick it up.
Or let a scooping party jump in and scoop up the cannisters. Random, but like a salvaging crew. And if people litter cannisters around the stations. Make a station salvaging ship show up and scoop up the cargo, or pirates jump in and begin to scoop. There should be scooping going on.

I can see that only dropping 20 cannisters can be little lucrative to pirates. If someone have other ideas be free to post them.
I think its fun scooping cargo, but when you can blow up a ship in a RES for 120000cr and 1 ton of gold/narcotics gets you 7000-8000cr it is to time consuming even with drones to scoop it up. If prices on the black market go up. This will change, people will scoop more, which I see as a core element in Elite Dangerous.

This will be changed in the next minor patch (if it goes through QA in time) according to Michaels latest posts.

Areas around stations and scenarios like combat zones will still have the current limit, in other places it will be upped to 100.

Oki, that sounds reasonable. If interdiction occurs, 100 cargo cannisters should be sufficient for even the most greedy pirate :D
