You decide on a base line and work from there, space farers probably use GMT or its equivalent while those on planets and stations use local time depending on there orbits and stuff.

Yeah, I said I was Bill Shatner, who played Captain Kirk in the first Star Trek, as in the first televised series, not Captain Pike in the pilot episode, nor Captain Archer in the last prequel series. That's KIRK. Not Pike, not Archer. But KIRK, played by William Shatner. That's me. I am him. Me. And I'm a big fan of Elite. I've been following the game since I quit advertising Vic-20s to devote more time to perfecting my TJ Hooker gambol. You fire on Bill Shatner at your peril.
