I have been doing some volunteering at a zoo and as a result came up with some free update idea to add to the game that I think would make certain parts more realistic.
Off exhibit animals
I think it would be a good idea to have the option to make habitats off exhibit. I have had multiple issues when I try and keep certain animals out of the view for breeding or when I’m doing community challenges it gets annoying when the guest are negativity impacted and therefore will affect the zoo rating. Having an option to make a habitat off exhibit would help with this.
Long term injury's
It would be interesting if animals can get long term injury’s or illness that need to be treated for example you could have an animal with a broken bone that needs the vet to visit multiple times you could also put the animal in an off exhibit habitat (idea above) while it heals.
Personality’s
It would be fun to have personalities for each animal some examples are Aggressive - tends to get in more fights, less likely to loose fights, prefers being alone Friendly - likes interacting with guests and other animals, enjoys the company of other animals Lazy - lies around a lot, sleeps more often needs little enrichment Active - is almost always awake, needs more enrichment more often, runs around a lot These are a few ideas I have for personality. The animals personalities may also be affected by the welfare or by their genetics.
These are the update ideas I have at the moment I thought that these would just add to the gameplay nicely
