Some Mission Questions

I'm starting to get more options for missions, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to handle them.

First, I took a mission that mentions going to a conflict zone and destroying ships. I don't remember the exact wording, but it said "WARZONE". I've also seen some that said "TRADERS".

I took one for warzone, headed to the nearest conflict zone. There were tons of navy/system defence ships there, but nothing hostile and nothing that seemed like anything I'd want to attack. Did I do something wrong?

I've also seen a couple missions for 100,000+ cr to kill what seems to be 1 ship. How hard are these to complete? Do you just jump to any of the systems mentioned and start looking for a target with that name?

I've mostly been doing trading/delivery missions, but I'd like to expand a bit... I'm just a bit clueless on what I'm doing. I'm fine killing random interdiction bounties, but I'd like to start actively seeking out targets (legally).

Hi man
about warzones you don't see any hostiles because you didn't choose your side.
In right panel, category functions there will be function at the top. "choose side"
You pick one and ....

The Warzone Missons in SOL (for me at least) seem to be broken at the moment. I've got to several different locations only to find Fed ships floating around with no enemies in sight.

The kill the 1 ship missions are, from what I've heard, quite difficult. Your target is usually in an Anaconda so I can imagine that would be a difficult fight. And yes you'll have to find them throughout the listed systems. I've read people saying that they'll come across information throughout their searches that will narrow down the target's location. Information being the bulletin board and various NPCs claiming to have seen the target. I think finding them is half the challenge with the other half being able to claim the bounty.

Am I in the right spot though? For example, I think it say Warzone in Sol. I was at Daedalus and there was a Low Intensity Conflict zone right outside. I went there and for faction choice, I had 1 option... Mother Gaea or something like that. I chose it, but all of the ships there were federation ships and green to me.

Ah. That may actually be my problem then. I'll have to check another system and see if I have different results. Thanks. :)

Same Issue, just says WArzone, I go to area, can only select one side, so its jusst a bunch of friendlys flying around... as for assination missions, have literally spend days on one, only to get some clues, and spend a few more hours to finally give up.... I have a buddy that did finally find them, tho I thought we were playing together and it didn't update on my end, but I digress, the Anaconda chewed up his little Adder in live two minutes... think you really need bigger more advanced ships for that type mission... but I really don't know, only my first week.

I've not done the SOL conflict zone mission. I have however picked a conflict zone mission for another faction a million light years away. They too appear neutral. After selecting a side there are still no 'reds.' HOWEVER, there are greens and yellows. I choose the yellows to fire at, and pick Eagles that I can finish off quick. They want 6 kills so I attack 6 Eagles. This seems to work. Sometimes when I do this all the ships turn red and gun for me - so I pick Eagles that are a little 'out of the action' and high tail it if everyone suddenly becomes an enemy!
