The price will certainly be very friendly too ...
I've been following this for months... Looking at the die schematics it appears some memory controllers are cut along with ROPs and SMMs, so the cut die can handle less memory at much higher speeds than Titan X. I am waiting to grab a couple for SLI in the next month (proposed release).
In all cases the packagings are ready
