Engineers Some new way to farm pharmaceutical isolators??

I was selling all my stored modules (I had about 40 of them) with the intention of buying back my engineered ones. I had no idea the buy back option was not available for stored modules (FYI)... ended up losing a G5 thruster in the process.

I begged frontier support to give it back, they gave me a G3 instead (since I had died with a G3 earlier). Unfortunately since this latest update the Pharmaceutical Isolators needed to upgrade to G5 are pretty much impossible to find.

After asking frontier support for Pharamaceutical Isolators (10 of them) since they do not be spawning based on that other thread, I was told this:

I've just checked and can confirm that pharmaceutical isolators are indeed still spawning. The way you obtain them may be different or have changed after updates, bear that in mind. :)

So, does anyone have any idea what this new way of them spawning is???

I went to a bunch of outbreak systems and could not even find one High Grade Emission. So far the only one I have found was from a mission (Eliminate pirate lord, for Imperial Navy rank up). Where killing the ship just dropped 1. I don't think this is an efficient way to farm them IMO.

The two best methods I can offer both involve the material trader.

1. Plot a course for Ch'eng (or another high population Empire system) and in your route filter by Allegiance and uncheck everything but Empire (and Apply Filter to Route). Set your jump planner to Efficient (so it makes a crazy amount of stops). In each system, drop into the Nav Beacon, scan it, and shift back into cruise. Check the Navigation panel for High Grade Emissions (filter the panel to only show Signal Sources). If you see one or more, go scoop them, and hope for Imperial Shielding (since those HGEs only drop IS and nothing else). Then jump to the next system and repeat. You should get 6+ HGEs an hour like this. *System population does not really seem to matter. As long as there is a nav beacon I've found 2 HGEs in a 125,000 population system. A single HGE with Imperial Shielding will yield 9-15 Imperial Shielding. 60 will trade for 10 Pharmaceutical Isolators.

2. Run VIP sightseeing missions. When allied, you will see lots of missions rewarding 3-5 very rare manufactured goods. Again, 60 gets you 10 of whatever you want.

Unfortunately, looking for Outbreak states is probably the worst plan now, as the state is just really rare.
