Some Nice Convenience Store Locations

Here are, from my fragmented records, some nice places for a corner store. Note that many of my discoveries have "disappeared" from the Galmap. Thanks, Frontier! Not the first time you have had data loss...

All these have been verified by me from the Galmap.

My very first, according to Mr. Brookes: Antliae Sector ZU-Y c12

Yes, I only have the first two inner bodies, and everybody else has mapped everything. What do you expect for a BDS, an Adder, and parallax? Still, it's a nice stop going out.

A nice place beyond the Pencil Factory: Col 132 Sector VR-Q c19-6

Yet another system not totally discovered, but halfway between Ghandarvi and Kashyapa: Boelts GY-W b19-0

A nice place before Rohini: Byeia Eurk AA-A d42

A nice place before Ghandarvi: Clooku JP-I c12-565

Another nice place southeast of the Pencil Factory: Col 132 Sector VR-Q c19-6

I hate this formatting.

Another one to the southeast of the bubble: Flyua Dryoae BG-W d2-10

And, another one: Flyua Dryoae LH-U d3-3

A nice stop on the way to Colonia : Preia Phoe AR-C d292

Another nice stop on the way to Colonia: Prua Phoe OL-N c23-402

Six. Helium Gas. Giants. Spoihaae LF-C b18-15

Way Down There: Spoihaae UX-K c8-3

Way Down There: Spoihaae VU-V d3-358

Two water worlds on the way to Ghandarvi: Stuelou AB-L d9-5055

Another stop past Ghandarvi: Stuelou AY-G b57-67

A stop before Ghandarvi: Stuelou NY-Y b47-69

Some of my early turf, with lots of nice metal ringed GG's (and a water world): Synuefe BF-Q c21-5

Lots of heavy metal worlds: Synuefe HQ-E b44-0

Nice system with a water world: Synuefe SV-K d9-27

Metal Rich Rings: Synuefe AF-Q c21-4

Happy mapping!

Hei, I don't get the purpose of this list.
_ Why _ are these supposed to be nice locations? I had a look at that last system you posted (looked at EDSM) and couldn't find any remarkable about it. Thus pictures would be helpful for all of us who haven't been there.
Or is it just a personal log of your travels?

These would be nice locations for Frontier to place surface bases or outposts.

These are far from my "best" systems. They are chosen for convenience, not too far out, but as pit stops for explorers, especially new ones.

Make all the "hei" you wish out of them. They are just gas stations, and Frontier needs to place more intermediate stops for exploring, without going out too far.

Why are more space stations needed (in general)?
What would be the ingame purpose? It makes sense establishing some outposts on the Bubble-Colonia route, because traffic is to be expected. Or in other words: You wouldn't build a gas station (or food store) in the middle of the woods just for the occasional hiker.
But this is an honest question. I'm very much a traveler out in the black. But I loathe that Beagle Point has become a tourist attraction lately (in game with NPCs I mean, NOT the still very few actual players that make it out there). Hence, it is very likely that I don't get your point and I really would like to understand your reasoning :)

Many of those systems are on the way to Colonia, from Colonia, or other midway points.

For you, perhaps, they might not be needed.

Oh, I do appreciate a station in the void but you are correct, for me these stations might not be needed.
But your last sentence strikes me more as a cheeky remark than an answer to my question … I think I even stated that I have a certain viewpoint and thus may not get your point.

You see, I had a similar thread a while ago in which I "asked around" for "explorers huts". But there I (somewhat) reason what the scope of these stations shall be and I limit it to three (!) such bases which are not to be close to other already established stations.

And thus I'm asking what your reasoning is that we need many more stations on the way to Colonia (or elsewhere)?

I don't want to shut you down, I just want to understand that (aaaaand … it's also summer, and not much else is happening here in the forums ;) )

I just thought that players might want to look at convenient places to stop. Many have metal worlds and Rich GG rings for material collection.

We can always use more stations.

Depressing: Many of my old haunts have been long since been strip-mined. Penalty for being a non-engineered Adder driver. Also, Stellar Forge has had several bad hair days, and a lot of my old stuff is gone. Additionally, my alt account has covered the same ground, so sifting out the main accounts finds has been a pain.

No sense taking the pinball machine (DSS) and mapping the old ground. I have about four hundred decent locations out of thousands that could be of practical use to new explorers. Places that are close enough to inhabited space for trade, but far enough out to be reasonable medium trip start points.

Not everyone should start out on a circumnavigation on their first trip. I just thought some jump-off points would be nice.

More stations in the depths of the void would be handy for explorers, especially if they had Universal Cartographics and repair facilities. Would negate us having to return to Colonia/Explorer's Anchorage/The Bubble to sell our data.

I see … thank you for the answers and as i said, I had a similar idea (with a very very different implementation) a while ago myself.
But one thing remains: ingame reasons for ingame capitalists to open these ports
