Fancy MalwareBytes Pro for £14.82 instead of £20.94, it is a single lifetime payment. If so click Buy Now on this Page. The link says 8% discount but in reality it is 29%.

Those same nice chaps at Malwarebytes have released a piece of (BETA) software that protects browsers and apps from zero-day vulnerabilities. It installs along side your existing anti-virus / anti-malware app. Get it here.

Some Backdoors / Holes have been found in various SoHo Routers, take a look at this article.

On the Sophos Article it mentions the Sophos UTM which is free for home use, There's no catch (though you need to register with an email address so we can send you a licence code), and included in the free licence is Sophos Anti-Virus protection for up to 12 Windows PCs, managed right from the UTM.

The Sophos Anti-Virus Software also includes protection from compromised/malicious web sites as well as Web Filtering. You can get the UTM from here.

Thanks for the link. I've used MBAM fairly frequently over the years, but usually just on other people's PCs when they've had issues. I figure they deserve a purchase just for that, so I did. :)

Remarkably similar scenario to me. I always recommend it to others, I was using the Free version but purchased Pro via that link this morning. It is a very good app and worthy of the spend, even more so at the reduced amount.

It's definitely a good idea to use MBAM. Easy-to-use still very effective when the related issues is concerned.
