Well we're still only in Alpha Module 2 with another 2 modules to come before we hit Beta 1.
The information we have now the dates are MY estimation NOT Frontier confirmed in any way.
Alpha 3: Mid (to late I'm guessing) March.
Alpha 4: Probably late April
Beta 1: Late May/Early June
Beta 2: July/August
Gamma: September
Full release Anytime in Q4 of 2014
I'm being a little on the pessimistic side here, but I don't reckon I'm far wrong.

specially with what, Star Citizen being delayed till 2016 if the user projections are to be believed? E
is going to be the only really big Space Sim for a great while. Glad I backed, even if I would have done sooner if info was easier to have been found. Cant wait to experience this monument in space sim gaming, actually more excited for it than SC atm.
Sounds like a pretty reasonable estimate to me.
Yes, I believe original estimate was shooting for March but E: D is by no means the first Kickstarter to miss their projected date.
The majority of us are thankful they are not rushing something to market just to make a buck but are serious about making it the best game possible (including going above and beyond IMO) to the tune of, "We'll release it when it's ready" (ok, I paraphrased that quote but that is the notion)

I stand corrected. Heres another few slightly aged sentences from Nov 2013 drilling further.

Good to see ED's development is on track - we are all just waiting on the wrong platform. I never did play RCT3. Did that FD game feature multiple tracks too?

It looks like we are pushing for a March 31st full Elite release date...

You may be right, although didn't DB say that Gamma would be an extended phase? I can see no rationale for Alphas 3 and 4 to take anything like as long as 2. Of course, we don't yet know how prepared they are for Beta1.
