Some points to care about!

This video shows some really good points to care about in PC! On the game design side.

May sounds like an ad, but I can assure you, it's not. Just watch it and get an idea about that [yesnod]

The Point I got was I love everything about RCT1 because Nostalgia and Hate everything about RCT3 because different. Oh... I'll overly be angry about small things because that makes it funny.

To be fair, I stopped watching about 25 min in because the negativity over completely unimportant things got to be too much.

Sorry but i disagree. He is clearly better of with Parkitect.

He is judging a 2004 game with 2016 standard.

Don't thing Parkitect would work either. He complained for an extended amount of time about a white screen. That a black screen shown for a about a miniute made a game better.

You are right. Just got to the point were he is complaining about the peeps.

That review of RCT3 is in my opinion terrible, clearly RCT3 was the best game of the three! And, did you notice that he disabled the comments? Clearly he knew how people would point out how wrong he was. He had 1700 likes and 1572 dislikes, so that goes to show how many disagreed with what he said, unfortunately we will never know why there are so many dislikes since nobody could post a comment.

Because he was constantly criticizing everything like that about RCT3, I have one word of advice for him - Since you are so negative, stay away from Planet Coaster because I don't want to see you.

RCT3 had it's problems but it wasn't even close to a fair review. It was simply a, complain about everything and Youtube watchers will think I'm clever, review.

I did think it was neat to see the old RCT3 trailer and how the advertising style was still similar to the trailer style of RCTW

I don't want to make a rant about this video, because Kombiice cared about things.
To be fair it is hard to seperate good points from what he is talking about.

Is there something you thought "Hey! He has a good idea there?" Kombiice?

And youtube commenters must have been being brutal because comments there were turned off. You would think the maker could handle criticism as he complined at length about round buttons.

I wouldn't go that far... IMO RCT2 has been the best game in the franchise, with the most replay-ability. Frontier did a pretty good job on RCT3, but they were seriously limited by funding from Atari. Atari effectively killed RCT3 with cutbacks and rushing development. RCT3 was released buggy, never fully fixed, and never fully optimized. Even on powerful machines today that laugh at high end games, RCT3 can bog down and have issues with graphics.

Planet Coaster is more or less a lesson learned. Frontier is no longer at the mercy of Atari, they have free reign to control all aspects of the development process and as such are making a FAR superior product. This is extremely evident when you play RCTW and then switch to PC. The difference in quality is absolute night and day.

To me, Planet Coaster is the true evolution and follow up to RCT3 as it holds onto the fun loving environment and creative playground that Chris Sawyer introduced with RCT1. Being someone that has grown up with the RCT series playing RCT1 from day 1 of launch, I can truly say that I am so happy with Planet Coaster and so incredibly thankful to Frontier for giving me a piece of my childhood back at age 30.

I would also like to point out from the horrid comparison video, solely based on the voice of the creator, was this person even alive when RCT1 came out??? [bored]

That's true. What were the good points you were talking about? Like I said I could finish it.

I can't stand to watch to find out, but I think he said he was like 5 or so when he got it from grandmaw or something. True, the age he looked didn't line up.

"comments disabled" I guess nobodies allowed to disagree with him.

5:02 "Suc-sex-ful" ew.

You made it farther than I did, once he started calling the peeps fa**ots I turned it off. If your intelligence level does not allow a better comparison or method of description, it's not really worth my time.

Holy Crap. Because I love to punish myself I have forced myself to listen to it more.

"The buttons go around in a circle which is annoying. Because of simply moving your cursor in one of 4 directions to line up with a button. You have to curve around and get the perfect aiming. A very small increase in mental dificulty but will really add up over time. "

Agreed, the video was a poor attempt at humour, at best.

However, there were some ideas behind that awful video that I did agree with. The change from RCT2 to RCT3 was, for me, jarring. The graphics were never quite right and I consequently was always running back to RCT2. However, that said, Planet Coaster is an entirely different machine. I don't really know what the OP was intending by posting this, aside from 'this guy does not like 3D roller-coaster games, be warned'.

Anyway, the video has no consequence for Planet Coaster and is rather a non-sequiter.

Oh, I skipped through haha, yea, when he said fa**ots I thought "Oh, cool, he's like a kid playing COD saying fa**ots and probably throws the n word round"
He really wasn't likeable, and I think its the same situation with what game grumps were saying on their ocarina of time vid today, about masterpieces, do you judge it by its time as a masterpiece or judge it by the year it was out, and for RCT3, I think its best to judge it in the time it was out, transitioning from 2D to 3D can be a big step.

I've watched this video before, and I do like some of his arguments mainly to do with RCT1 nostalgia. Sure his intelligence is low, his humor crude, and his arguments pretty weak, which is why I didn't watch the whole thing. But unless you are a RCT1 purist then you wouldnt get why he made the video.

I nearly spilt my tea when I heard that, he can't be serious, surely?

I won't deny that the new UI is far superior, but it was still a silly argument regardless.
