There is little reason why Retributor, Pulse Disruptor, Pacifier, Enforcer and Mining Lance can't at least come in all 3 variants: fixed, gimbal and turreted. Make them separate unlocks at different ranks, fine, but why we never got gimbal/turret/fixed variants for these weapons?
It's not like they use unique 3D models, no, they use the base 3D module of base weapon that they are type of. Is it balancing? I don't think balancing will be broken if any of these weapons came in gimbal or turreted variants.
This looks like small amount of work for something that might increase appeal of powers to people since their weapons and modules will be more flexible to use.
