After a bunch of successful mid-range trading (25LY jump range in a T6 for about 300k round trip), there's some potential features that would be useful on the nav menu (not the galaxy map. The Galaxy map in a ship with a jump range of 26LY is just a spaghetti still) to reduce some of the tedium of trading.
Note that this is in context of trading with a ship with a large jump range, and as such the Locations becomes a massive list with my desired target not on the list, as well as the galaxy map becoming a spaghetti. These issues aren't apparent in a sidewinder or a cobra for example, anything with a jump range of 10LY or less.
1) when arriving in a new system, the Locations menu on the left always remembers the point in the menu where I was in the previous system, rather than starting from the top. Sometimes that can be way way down the list at item 20-30 for example. This list gets very large, can it reset the selected one to the top (first item in the list) on arrival in a system please, or, possibly more helpfully, if I've visited the system before, to select the previously docked location, rather than "random asteroid cluster 56B".
2) This same Locations list gets very long, especially on systems full of asteroid clusters, would be good to be able to quickly filter this list by "stations only", or "conflict zones only" for example. A tab to the right/left to change the filter for example.
3) In addition to filtering by "stations only", add a "filter by locations visited", i.e. the last 3 stations docked at (regardless of which system they were in).
4) Adjust the "Lock Destination" to also route-plan with a "Lock Economical Route" or "Lock Fastest Route" if the system is out of 1-jump range. In case this is technically complicated, how about a simpler "Reverse Route" item just at the top of the Locations list to just invert the last-planned route, so I can easily shuttle back n forth without constantly doing the same two system searches on the GM.
5) Can the galaxy map please persistently remember that I ticked the fastest route, not the most economical one (i.e. please remember the user's setting, whether economical or fastest). I have the credit budget to not care about the economics, and in a long range ship, the economical one can plot a route of 7-9 jumps, whereas the fastest will plot 1-2, and every restart of the game resets back to "Economical".
