Some questions I should have asked a while ago.

  1. Where can I find a description of the icons used in the game, system maps etc?
  2. Why do some orbit rings have sharp bends? Rounded right angles as seen from above?
  3. What is the significance of the colours of stars and planets in the SC radar display?
  4. Why does the forum use US English?

1. Nowhere that I know of. Maybe the manual but I'm not sure.
2.are you sure of the angle from which you are viewing the orbit line? They are just featureless lines with nothing to indicate distance on the z axis from your perspective, which can make them confusing to look at. At least they made it so you can tell what side of the planet a station is on.
3. I've wondered this myself.
4. I have no idea. It does? Lol I didn't notice. Do you guys use different spellings for phrases like "post quick reply" or "cancel"?

They say "Ei Mite wud ya luv a pint mite!"

Look at some of the orbital lines, they are at 90 degrees, I noticed that as well.

Absolutely sure.
I've noticed it with the orbit lines of stars. Mostly when I have been looking for a companion star. On one occasion I think the lines were in a triangular formation. Next time I will take a screenshot now I know where they are saved.

No it is the spelling of the words. Although we do use different words for familiar things.
FYI What you call an eraser we call a rubber. And the word you use for buttocks we use for a woman's private parts. (I cannot bring myself to write it on a public forum even though it is a pet name for Francis.)
While I am at it. If you ever come to the UK or Australia. Be careful about giving the peace sign. Here it MUST be given with the palm facing outwards or it is more insulting than "giving the finger". ;)
