Some Suggestions I've come up with while building my Park

1. Advance Move on Selected Track Pieces on Coasters


I've been having big issues on coasters where I want some long straight pieces to either point in a different direction after the entire coasters completed, but it means I have to re-do the entire section which is time consuming. I'd appreciate a tool where after I select the pieces I want to Edit I can advance move them and rotate to my desired angle and then go ahead and re-link the connecting pieces back together with the new angle.


2. Saving Custom Made Inversions


This idea came about when I needed to remove a loop I spent a good amount of time on getting just right. I'd have to re-do it all over again just to fix a few parts of track either before or after the loop. But if there was an option to save a self-fabricated piece of track, I wouldn't have to worry about.


3. A setting for the default building Grid Size/Grid Height


Everytime I start a new building it defaults to the largest grid size, which is 13 I believe which I want it to be 1 all the time, but I have to keep switching the grid size panel and changing it and it can be an annoyance after so many times. Just make a setting where I can permanently set it to 1.


4. A setting for Angle Snapping Terrain to certain degrees


So the terrain editor can be a bit time consuming to learn and master. And things can be altered very quickly to your disadvantage if you're not careful enough. One problem is making the terrain gradually angled to a certain degree. It would make things a lot more simpler to have this option when raising terrain for pathways to certain angles.


5. A tool to Cut/Snip away Pathways to form better around buildings and scenery


This is a big one! Pathways can be tough to get just right, but at times that's impossible to do cause of how much limiting there is. For example I made this curved piece in the photo here https://i.imgur.com/Ffn04zMh.jpg and the pathway was already set to a grid otherwise I wouldn't be able to have the huge plaza connect to an individual curved piece of path. Would be nice to some-how cut or snip unnecessary path that goes too far or through buildings.


6. A Built-in Measuring Tool


This one should be a simple one. Just add a ruler tool or something of the sort to measure distances from here to there.


7. Concrete and Asphalt in the Terrain Painting Menu for all climates


Self explanatory


8. Be able to add Scenery and Building objects to a Favorites tab



Self explanatory


9. An Eyedropper Tool for coloring objects,rides, etc.


Being able to pick a color from an image outside the game or something that is already colored in the game you'd like to match

Yea, nice suggestions.

Although the asphalt request was explained not to be possible due to engine limitations, to be more specific, due to the "voxel technique" they are using for terrain, so only limited number of textures can be loaded.
 
Great ideas.

As for the pathing issue (your image refers), it would be nice to be able to select all the pieces in the curve and then 'cut' the excess (you would select which side of the curve was the excess). That way you have nice neat curved paths without people walking through your walls. (I know you could barriers behind/inside your building but my cutting idea would mean you could have external curves as well.
