Some Things FD should consider for exlporation

1) When scanning asteroid belts give us at least 50-100 credits so it has a meaning to scan them.Also provides us with a list of the materials that could be mined from them.
2) When scanning a planet - sun who has rings also display through system map its contents like the materials list on land-able planets.
3)For those who complain that they find system not fully explored , give us a bonus reward for complete the whole system with level 3 scans.
 
1) Without the asteroids, you don't get credit for scanning the entire system which doubles the credit yield of how much the entire system is worth. But I wouldn't mind a few extra for those 'roids ether considering how many there are. I definitely agree they could use a material locator for asteroids.

2) Do you mean yields of materials used in Engineers and Synthesizing you find and harvest in an SRV or do you mean similar to asteroids in which if you scan a planet and if it has mining rings, it tells you the composition of the rings? Because the former is already in the game.

3) First come is first served but I'm pretty sure you get a bonus if you're the first one to discover a planet which will give you a bonus for that planet if you make it back to UC first.
 
Naming planets and surface features would be good too, explorers should have first dibs at this, if they land and discover anything that hasn't been seen before by anyone.
 
Add these upcoming ruins and such to deep space to incentivise travel there. Search for the thargoids homeworld (big bonuses for discovering things related to them). Incredibly rare discoverable ancient alien module tech that when recovered unlocks actual human progress recorded in galnet thanks to x commander and improvements to manufactured tech. Some of this should be weird visible structures. Or even ongoing like 5 discoveries of that class unlock something and triggers a mini story in Galnet, 40 might trigger something else so you feel your exploration is an achievement. A rare discovery could be worth 10mill. At the same time there need to be threats beyond stars and fuel (like thargoids, some anomalies might damage your ship in some manner).

True, Asteroid belts always yiedled 0 Cr, ever since pre-release Beta.

Once in a while, I reset the NAV Panel Filters to display them again and scan one or a few.
- 1st Discovery awarded (for some reason these actually go into the Discovery Database)
- 1st Discovery Bonus awarded : 0 Cr
