Some things I would really like to see

I have been following the development of Planet coaster and already think it is a great game, which is a great achievement seeing as it is still in it's alpha state. I just wanted to make a little list of things that I would love to see in this game.

  • Water slides. I would love to see some water slides in this game so you can have the ability to make a great water park. I loved building and riding my own water slides in RCT3 and I think it would be a great addition to this already wonderful game. Also living close to water parks such as wet and wild on the gold coast and white water world
  • mini/normal golf courses. Yea this is a sort of an odd choice but I think it may work well using the terrain tool and other scenery to make unique and authentic golf courses.
  • The ability to derail and crash rollercoasters. Because why not?
  • Multi coloured track. When I say this i mean having different colour schemes for different parts of your tracks. I'm pretty sure this was possible for RCT2 and maybe RCT3 (I can't remember) but I still think this would be a cool idea.
  • Syncing rollercoasters. I believe this may be a key feature for anyone who wants to make a duelling rollercoaster in their park. It would be nice to have this sort of freedom with your rollercoasters.
  • Rotating tracks, lift tracks and switch tracks. The theme park I go to the most is probably Movie world on the gold coast, Australia, and rides such as the Wild west log flume or the Scooby-doo coaster have parts of the ride where you go backwards, due to the track having a vertical lift or a track which turns the cart around 90 degrees. I also believe that expedition Everest has 2 parts of the track which change mid ride so it would be cool to be able to experiment or recreate these rollercoasters in this game.
  • Some smaller additions such as Ghost trains, rides for small children, Chair lifts for transportation, more variety in shops, swimming pools, stuff which I have no doubt you are planning to add to the game.

I honestly don't mind if none of these additions make it into the final product because I am already happy with all the love and care that Frontier have put into this game. Feel free to add to my list or argue as to why you don't want this certain aspect of my list to make it into the final game. Please keep in mind that this is only my opinion and I know not everyone is going to agree with me so I don't want to see any bickerings down below.

Also I would like to quickly thank Frontier for their hard work and tell them that they are doing a great job and are making a lot of people happy.

The only thing I slightly disagree with on your list would be the derailing of coasters. I know lots fun to play "peep bowling" in RCT3 but personally I'd rather it stayed the way it currently is for PC.

I like the golf course idea though, but I'm sure if how well it would work in the game as it's more of a thing you're going to find outside the park itself. Mini-golf on the other hand: that's quite high in my list too because I always loved the mini golf in RCT3 and I think it could be taken one step further in this game.

And of course... Rotating tracks [yesnod][heart]

I'm pretty sure you can multi color the tracks already, but it's very time consuming I found this accidently while I was building a coaster I haven't tried to replicate it, but the color difference stayed until I finished building the coaster and changed the whole coasters color.

You can easily change the colours of the whole track in the customisation window for the coaster (there's 4 different parts of the track you can change). I might be wrong but I thought the OP was talking about changing the colours of individual track segments, which I agree would be quite nice, but probably going to have some performance issues.

That is what I thought too. Couldn't we do that in RCT3?

Okay, thank you for bringing this to my understanding as I was currently un aware that you could do this in the current state of the game.
