Some way of selecting which star SC targets when traveling between systems

It would be great if there was some way to choose which star we drop out of SC at when flying to systems that have more than one. For example LHS 3447 has two stars. LHS 3447 and Gliese 748.2 B and near as I can tell I always get dropped off at Gliese when 99.9% of the time the stations I want to visit orbit LHS 3447. It would be sweet and would save a lot of traveling frustration (for me at least) if I could tell my nav computer drop me at LHS and not Gliese.

This is the billionth thread about this.

To answer this question for the billionth time, Travelling at hyperspace to the next system will always target the largest mass in the system. That's the primary star. It'll never change. That's the way it works.

This requires you to fly over to your target, giving time for other players and NPCs to interdict you which is a big part of the game.

Changing this completely negates the entire aspect of interdiction and player/player/npc interaction. No.

Well then to respond with probably the same billionth answer, that sounds more like some cop out . It wouldnt matter which star is selected there would still be ample time for interdiction. Obviously yes, if you have to travel the rediculously long distances to get to your destination then those opportunities are amplified but for realism sake, the onboard nav computer should be smart enough to drop us off at whichever star we choose considering it is picking a spot withing the system to drop us at.

Like I said, you'd be completely negating an entire game mechanic, something Frontier worked very hard on to find a solution to (the whole supercruise issue, look it up if you're not familiar with their efforts to find a solution to the problem).

If you don't like it, feel free to make your own game so we can play it. I'll be the first in line to buy it and tell you what you did wrong -not because you've actually done anything wrong, but because I simply don't like it and that means that you made a mistake. :)

I'd gladly make my own game but I'm usually to busy working to provide power to all the fan boy homes, such as yourself, so you can sit like a jack ass when someone comes on here and makes a simple request. You'll have to excuse me if my life doesn't allow me to browse these forums all hours of the day keeping up with trending debates on game features. I stand by my arguesment, I wouldn't be negating a game mechanic. It would still be completely possible for interdiction no matter which star you arrived at. To say otherwise is just ignorant. There's plenty of systems that have destinations to the "home" star a lot closer to the system I used for an example. So should we make those systems bigger for more interdiction time?

Luckily, you don't have to browse the forum all day. The search function will filter for exactly what topic you're looking for. :D

I've flown 600,000 LS from the primary star to a station. Some systems are really big. Some systems are really small, having a station 40LS from the star. If every system were the same with nothing interesting or challenging than this game would be boring. What's the point of playing a game that doesn't have challenges or something interesting? Ohhh, I don't like it! CHANGE IT! CHAAAAAANGE IT RIGHT NOOOOWW!!

Grow up kid. You obviously don't agree so why not just move along? I'm sorry I crushed your feelings with what was apparently negative feedback (how it was I'm not sure) about your precious game you but continue to act like a child if you must. Oh and I did search. Maybe I didn't use the exact terms I needed since I didn't find much that related to an "official" answer.
