Some wishes of mine (about the visitors and smaller enclosures)

I love this game to death! I always loved animals and the details and choise of animals so far is awesome, there are still a lot missing so I hope the expansions keep coming to all my favorites are covered, (frontier if you reading this, which you hopefully do, please don't forget the Lyrebird!)

Anyway two things I don't like about the game (yet) are the size of the smaller enclosures (why all the same size) and the human guests (both their graphics and behavior and numbers)

I would like to suggest multiple sizes for the smaller enclosures (the ones with insects, amphibians and reptiles in it), some very small ones for the insects, then the ones we already have, and then some bigger ones for birds and reptiles, like three of the enclosures we have put together, that would give more variation to your zoo and also give the bigger reptilians and snakes some breathing room, also some birds could get into those bigger enclosures and they could also function as aquariums for Morays and other such fish.

Then the human guests, I really don't like how cartoony they look compared to the animals who are stunning, I hope when you are done with the animals the humans get an upgrade in behavior and looks, more models, better graphics and less herd-like behavior.

The number of guests is also insane, sometimes a million guests are looking at a small enclosure, I think less is more, give the guests more money but reduce their numbers so they don't look like swarms of insects.

Thanks for reading!

Visitors look like that for performance reasons. If they were more complex the game would be incredibly demanding. Planet zoo already suffers from performance issues. Making the guests simple was a really good idea on Frontiers part.

I know, but I think there are too many guests so they look like swarming ants, maybe less guests?

Stole this idea from someone else, but I like the idea of having invisible guests, for economy reasons. Like, every avatar in your game represents 5 total guests, so you can have 1k actual people physically in your zoo, but the cash inflow of 5k. I think that would be a huge help to franchise and challenge players with performance issues.

I support this thread. Crazy about this game, everything looks beyond for me. But the people are kind of different looking, like they came from a different game like the Sims or something. Invisible visitors would be cool, you can play without them too right?

The visitors are kind of iconic to the Planet series, they are the same as in Frontier´s second game, Planet Coaster. So they are there to stay. Also, they are quite heavy on the game performance, so the simplier they are the better for us.

But you can keep your zoo closed, so no one can visit. This is of course only viable in Sandbox, where you can turn on unlimited money.

I like this idea. Maybe have it as an option in the settings, at least. It wouldn't hurt Frontier's sales at all if people with ordinary computers without big graphics cards and so on could play without problems.

I don't really mind the guests looking like a swarm, as I've been to enough zoos on popular days to know how crowded they can really get.

I agree that the cartoony guests are better for the game performance overall. If it allows us to have better looking animals and scenery, I'm fine with that.
