Somehow a red panda ended up miles underground

Got an alert that a "Dangerous Animal" had escaped, and when I clicked on the alert to select the animal, I see it is one of my Red Pandas (Dangerous? Please) and it appears to be waaaaay underground. Like it just teleported down there.

Now I have no idea how to fix this.

I got it yesterday too also with the red panda, my steps to fix.

Do a emergency capture and then move the animal to the habitat. And it fixed it for me in that way.

How did a staff member get the crate when it was way underground?

I'll try that after I get done taking a time out :)

Had a lion do the same thing, most of my enclosures are sunked in and i use rocks to decorate the edges, this lion just went underground, i used emergency box and it got back into its enclosure

Huh ok they must have changed something since beta on how that works. I lost a lion in beta that was emergency captured because no staff member would pick up the box.

YOU CAN MOVE THEM MANUALLY?? I'm sorry for the caps but oh my god I am so grateful they fixed that. I lost an African wild dog pup in the beta because the caretakers literally refused to pick him up after an emergency capture. They would actually stand inside the box but not pick him up. Had to leave him to basically die of old age in there ;(

Really happy to hear it got "fixed" if that is the case.

Yeah that was my experience in beta as well which is why I was skeptical the proposed method would work :) Thankfully (or not?) I didn't have to resort to trying it as it was "fixed" when I reloaded.

I have had 2 Formosan Black Bears "escape" by slipping underground as well. I don't know how this happened. I didn't change any of te elevation of the land when I built their habitat, but it happened and then happened again generations later. I just used the emergency capture and shook my head at the bear looking for a subway train.
