Something creepy is going on in the galaxy... but i dont know what.

So after i did some bounty hunting i racked up to at least 100k thought id take a break and slow down and stop for abit and admire the place i was in SYNTEINI and so as i was just... admiring the place... i heard some weird sounds... like... whispers... and quiet voices and some... humming... and i know it was not my ship.. because the humming i was hearing sounded different to the ships engine hum... so... i think... something is happening... scary part... i dont know what...
if any of you guys have had another experience like this.. tell us

Had the same in a Type-9 just sitting in idle outside a Station for prolonged times. Sounded like I tuned into some CB radio channel.
But I do think it somewhat depends on your location and/or Ship type.

I know what THAT sounds like... but it sounds ALOT different ive never heard this one before

Space lacks boundries and therefor EM-waves can reach you almost everywhere. Your hull gets electrostatic after a while and certain intruments start to resonate with certain frequencies because of the mass of signals you constantly getting bombarded with - which you will be able to hear as faint noises.

Like old speakers which suddenly turn into very quiet radios when close to transmitters

How is that for an explanation to take away the fear :D

I swear there is this noise like a sneeze during jumps that makes me think somebody else is in the room at me when I've got all the lights turned off and it is late at night.

It's not the noises you need to be worried about, but the burglars climbing in through the window while you play :p
