Something I didn't even think of.

Didn't even realize. With the appearance of Planetary Landings, SRVS, and low altitude flight, are we going to see some ground side CGs? Immediately, my mind is bursting with possibilities!

Example, taken sorta from the whole Emperor's Dawn War earlier in the year:

Let's say there's one last Emperor's Dawn location, secured via an exploration CG, like you do. It discovers a planet just outside the bubble, maybe on the edge of Imperial Space, would make sense. Two CGs go up, one by Patreus's Armada asking us to take down their planet-side bases, but another from Emperor's Dawn, saying defend them! Turn some of those huge bases into effectively Conflict Zones, hopefully wouldn't be too hard, and encourage us to play in open by making SRV kills worth more than Skimmers and the like, and if possible, taking down a ship from an SRV even more! Heck, even reference the Galnet article from the last Emperor's Dawn CG, where they pledged to start offering more money than the main empire side.

Think about it, we get the Imperial Loyalists bombing the place in their cutters, SRVs zooming in from a nearby canyon and flipping off mountains. Then, out of the starport, hardened mercs looking for their cold cash reward rise from behind their cover, Pythons and Vultures strafing the Cutters in the sky as the turrets and SRVs below clash in an epic battle! Not sure how it'd work with the new mechanics, I'm just spit-balling, but anything from a planetary mining CG to who can salvage the most biowaste from crashed T-9s to all out war like above has got me excited!
