Ship kits.

As far as the screenshots from the beta seem to show, there'll soon be "body-kits" for our ships. I'll try and find the thread & link you guys to it.

Nice , I wonder if they will be cosmetic or give some kind of a boost, it could be either from that screen shot.

I'm for anything that gives more character and a personal touch to our ships. I'm just curious if these items will be available in game or if they will be PDLC from the Frontier store.

Based on it being livery, I reckon it'll be PDLC like the skins are.

Decals are in livery and they aren't PDLC. Though this stuff probably will be. The problem I have with that is Frontier is either slow or peculiar about supporting all the in game ships in the store. For example the Cobra and Viper MK IIIs have dozens of paint jobs while many of the newer ships have none. Will it be more of the same with these items?

True. But I just have a strong hunch they will be PDLC.

Anyway, as for FD being slow to support more ships, couldn't agree more. Only reason I'm not affected is because I only fly small/medium FaulconDelacy/Lakon ships.

I at least hope we can have power or faction/rank aligned options that are unlockable instead of being bought. I'm just not one of those people who's willing to spend much on a game after i've bought it.

Ha i knew there would be at least one person who couldn't resist. That's what i get for being honest. If i could pick individual skins and such for a cheaper price i might consider it. Personally micro-transactions have never sat well for me but whatever floats your ship.

My interest was suddenly piqued yet again for 2.1. This was something on my wishlist, but something I never expected to actually make it into the game! Maybe in a few years time, it'll be like GTA, where you can go to "Benny's" and truly customize your ships!
