Don't know if any other fine Cmdrs have noticed recently, but......

The Bally Xbox forum seems a tad lifeless.

Sorry, this is not a DOOM post, what what

One is simply remarking on the fact that very little seems to be happening over there.

Maybe most Cmdrs prefer DD?

PS4 Commander here...

We like to complain a lot (both against PC and XBox) as well as flaunt exclusives. Superior system and all that.

Jokes aside (sort-of)...

When you're a dedicated XBox player, you're used to being disappointed and just picking up your toys and playing somewhere else. Nothing clears out faster than an XBox forum for a PC-centric game when the developers make it clear (which is good) that they aren't willing to invest the resources to take care of all players (which is bad).

Just started my two month Colonia explo trip after a Bally fine carrier Cmdr allowed me to hop on board.

I am simply asking if the majority of Xbox Cmdrs are in DD instead of posting over there?

May one also add that if you are simply labeling this thread as DOOM because one asked a question, that you Bally well take a long walk orf a short pier, what what

Erm, short answer (from a PS4 perspective)...

99.9% of my posts (literally, look it up and do the math if so inclined) are in DD. The vast majority of console players who use forums for a game (which, itself, is a huge minority) know that console-specific forums are worthless in all but the most dedicated of developers. Warframe and DE being an example of an outlier.

As such, it unfortunately feeds into bad thought process at FDev: if they don't use it (CQC, Powerplay, XBox Forums, etc) then we don't need to both working on it. Console commanders almost always post to general/suggestion/other forums because it's just a given that developers don't care about console if originally launched on PC. We're a cash grab and little else.

Nevermind a certain PS5 title topped all-time software sales just recently. We're not that important of a market to develop, of course. Ok...end of salt.
Anyways, hope that explains it.

Supposedly, the XBox side is doing better than Playstation for Elite in terms of population, based on numbers from others like Hull Seals and Fuel Rats. So I suspect your fellow commanders are also dwindling, but not as fast as mine. Granted, I don't play Elite currently, so...

Well, humble me has no Xbox topic I would need to discuss specifically.
The game works as it did before, so no complaints either.
I just play. Which makes a poor conversation topic.
There might be a DLC with nice plants and atmosphere planet graphics in the future, but so far I do not see any disadvantage of not having that.
(Powerplayers might disagree).
What questions I have or what screenshots I would like to share can either be looked up online or posted in the general area of the forum.

Furthermore on Xbox EDH there are no griefers or gankers to suffer, so nothing to whine about.
As for PvP I have yet to meet an actual player targetting the beginner me, those I met so far were mostly ignoring my rustbucket.
The only issue I would have when I arrive at a Guardian site or Barnacle forest and everything not nailed down has been looted just minutes ago, but that's what happens in open as far as I understand. :-I

I didn't realize that playing X4 on PC is XOR with congratulating an XBox owner on the arrival of MSFS on their platform. Huh, I learn something new every day!

Admittedly I was young for Doom and a proper age for half life, but both were great in their own ways, perhaps in part due to being new trends for want of a better phrase.

I have no idea what platform MSFS is available on or not. I just remembered you mentioning how good X4 is at every corner. If that qualifies as a flame - yay me!
